You can have My Screen Recorder to keep watch on your screen and create the screen recording of last few minutes when problem occurs. Go to Tools >> Settings >> Recording Options and select the 'Timed Recording Options'. Choose the option to 'Save the last "x" minutes of recordings'. [image: MSRpost4735.jpg] Specify the number of last few minutes you want to record. This will create a short and precise screen recording showing the action causing the problem. You can easily share the screen recording to show what is happening. With Save last minutes turned on, the program only keeps a very limited duration of recording stored at any time, so it saves a lot of disk space.

With My Screen Recorder Pro you can add watermarks or logos to your screen recordings. Before creating the video recording, Go to Effects menu >> Image Overlay. [image: ImageOverlayOptions.png] Select an Image by clicking on Browse. You can see the image in the Preview. Resize your image file by adjusting its width and height. If the Maintain Aspect Ratio checkbox is selected, the height and the width is maintained proportionately. Set the Image Transparency by changing it from 1% to 90% using the slider. Position your image on the recording screen by moving the image to the desired location. [image: Imageposition.png] Select the duration option as needed - this allows you to have the image on screen for the complete recording duration or for a limited time. Finally, you can click on OK and create your screen recordings.

You can configure My Screen Recorder Pro to record only when screen motion is detected. When you use motion detection recording, My Screen Recorder Pro will watch your PC screen, application window or custom region for movement. If motion is not detected then recording is automatically paused and the application goes into monitoring mode. To start motion detected recording, click on Tools >> Settings >> Recording Options. Select Advanced Screen Recording Options and then choose Record when screen motion is detected. My Screen Recorder Pro is the best solution for you. Using My Screen Recorder Pro you can create video tutorials in WMV, AVI, MP4 and WebM formats. Each format has a customizable Video Profile. The profile balances file size against video and audio quality. You can set the recording format and profile from Tools >> Settings >> Recording Format. [image: SettingsFormatTab.png] If you are recording only a small region of your screen, a lower-quality profile will give you a very small size with great quality.

My Screen Recorder allows you the flexibility of recording the entire screen, or just a portion. When you start recording from the File menu or use the Record icon on the tool bar, you will see the Recording Options dialog. If you select the Custom Region, the crosshair mouse pointer is displayed. Drag the crosshair across the desired area on your desktop to select the region of the screen to record. Once you have selected the custom region on the screen, use Keyboard shortcuts for performing your future recordings. When you use the keyboard shortcut to begin recording, the previous region selection is used. You don't have to select the region every time, as long as you use Keyboard shortcuts. You can set the keyboard shortcuts from Settings: [image: MSR_Hotkeys.png]

Here are the steps to set a custom frame rate: From the Tool bar, select Settings >> Recording Format. Then click on the Custom... button. [image: SettingsFormatTab.png] Adjust the frame rate to the value you would like, and click OK. For most screen-capture applications, a frame rate between 5 and 10 fps is adequate. Yes, you can record streaming videos without having to listen to the audio. You will need to have external speakers with a separate volume control. Play your video and adjust the Windows volume to your normal level. On the external speakers, turn down the volume all the way. Do not turn off the external speakers, and do not mute the speakers from Windows. I suggest making a couple of short test recordings with My Screen Recorder to make sure you have it setup correctly.

My Screen Recorder Pro's scheduler allows you to select actions to perform before the schedule and after the schedule. After you select the schedule timing and format, you can choose to perform an action before recording. Use the pull down to select 'Start a Program', then select 'Other Program' and choose Citrix. You can also pass in any command line parameters like a login. I suggest scheduling the recording to begin a few minutes early and using the test button to make sure the command line parameters are working correctly. Here is an illustration on scheduling a screen recording: https://www.deskshare.com/help/msrpro/ScheduleRecording.aspx
