    You can remove the countdown shown at the beginning of screen recording in My Screen Recorder Pro. Go to Settings and uncheck the ‘Display the countdown when starting a screen recording’ option. Make a test recording and note that the countdown is no longer shown. [image: MSRPpost5284.jpg]

    This can be done using My Screen Recorder Pro. Click on the ‘Settings’ icon on the toolbar, go to ‘Display Options’ tab. [image: MSRpost5267.png] Select the checkbox for ‘Hide desktop icons’ under ‘Change Windows appearance during recording’ section. When you start screen recording, then the desktop icons will be hidden.

    You can use My Screen Recorder for recording audio only. To record audio, go to the ‘Tools’ menu, select ‘Audio Recorder’ option.     You can increase the screen recording quality by selecting one of My Screen Recorder Pro's higher quality video profiles. Click on the ‘Settings’ icon on the toolbar. Go to the ‘Recording Format’ tab and select ‘Video Profile:’ from the drop down. [image: SettingsFormatTab.png] You can also create a custom profile and choose settings for the video profile.

    You can adjust the size, transparency and color for the mouse highlighter in My Screen Recorder Pro from Effects section. To configure settings, go to the ‘Effects’ menu and select the ‘Mouse Movement Effects’ option. If you reduce the transparency, then the highlighter will be much sharper. Change the color for the highlighter, and choose a darker color. Also, you can choose to highlight the left and right mouse clicks. [image: MouseEffects.png]

    You can create a schedule in My Screen Recorder Pro to record your internet TV show. When the schedule is triggered, the screen recording will begin at the URL for your show.     My Screen Recorder Pro supports screen recording when motion is detected. Click on Settings and then go to 'Recording Options' tab. Please note that audio is not recorded with motion detection.

    To record only half of the screen, you can use the Custom region recording in My Screen Recorder. Click on the ‘Record’ icon on the toolbar. Select the ‘Custom Region’ option from the ‘Record Screen’ drop down and click OK. [image: MSRpost5182.png] You will see a crosshair mouse pointer. Select the half part of the screen you want to record by clicking and dragging the crosshair.

    My Screen Recorder Pro allows you to add a watermark image on your screen recordings. Click on the Effects menu and select the ‘Image Overlay…’ option.     My Screen Recorder Pro can start another program before beginning screen recording. You can do this through the Scheduler. While adding a schedule, click on the ‘New’ button under ‘Optional actions to be performed at the start of recording’ section. Select ‘Start a program’ option from the Action drop down. When the schedule runs, the program you have selected will be launched and then screen recording will start.

Select the type of upload and add your files to share. Next, create an FTP connection profile to connect to an FTP server. Once you set up the connection with the FTP server you can upload your screen recordings. Your friends can easily get the files from there.

    With My Screen Recorder Pro it is very easy to put a time stamp on your screen recordings. Click on the ‘Effects’ menu and select ‘Time and Text Anotations’ option. Check the ‘Display system date and time’ option and select the format you want. Finally, select ‘Display elapsed time’ check box. You can adjust the Font, Size, Text alignment, text color by clicking on ‘Edit’ button on ‘Time and Text Anotations’ dialog. Also the duration to display the text and background color can be set.     You can create a schedule in My Screen Recorder Pro to run on ‘log on’. You can choose to perform the screen recording for a specified time or until the computer logs off. To add a schedule, click the ‘Schedule’ icon on the toolbar. Choose the folder location to save the recording and click Next. Then select the schedule type as ‘On log on’. Set the time in minutes to run the schedule. The schedule will run from the time you log on to the PC for the specified time. [image: MSRpost5055.jpg] Every time you log on to the PC, the schedule will run and a screen recording will be performed. The filename for the video recording will contain the creation date and time.
