    You can keep My Screen Recorder Pro recording continuously and save the screen recording of the last few minutes when the problem occurs. Go to the Settings dialog and select the 'Recording Options' tab. Check the 'Timed recording Options' and select 'Save the last "x" minutes of recordings'. [image: MSRPpost5033.jpg] Next, enter the value for ‘number of minutes’ such that it covers the entire series of events which cause the problem. When the problem occurs you can stop recording and My Screen Recorder Pro will create a file for the duration you have specified. This will give you the required evidence of the problem occurring.

    The Settings in My Screen Recorder allow you to disable the capture of the mouse cursor during recording. Before starting your screen recording, click on the Settings icon on tool bar. Select the ‘Recording Options’ tab and uncheck the ‘Capture mouse cursor while recording’ option.     You can easily disable your microphone audio in My Screen Recorder. Click on the Settings icon on tool bar and go to ‘Recording Options’ tab. [image: MSRpost5006.jpg] Uncheck the ‘Record Microphone audio’ option. You can select ‘Record system audio (Speakers)’ if you want to record audio from your webinar and click OK to save the settings. When you record the webinar, the microphone audio won’t be recorded.

    You can have different mouse movement effects in your screen recordings with My Screen Recorder Pro. You can choose different colors for the left and right mouse click events. Click on the ‘Effects’ menu and select ‘Mouse Movement Effects’ option. [image: MouseEffects.png] Next, select the checkboxes to highlight the left and right mouse click. Choose the colors you want for each, and click OK. Try creating a screen recording, then save it and play it. You will be able to see the different colors for left and right mouse clicks.

    My Screen Recorder allows you to set the default file name. From 'Settings' you can change the default file name which is shown after completion of screen recordings.     In My Screen Recorder Pro, you can create different FTP connection profiles. Each FTP connection profile is for a specific FTP server. You will select the respective FTP profile from the confirmation dialog of auto upload. To configure settings for auto upload, click the ‘Upload’ icon on the toolbar and choose the option to ‘Auto upload in the background any newly created recordings’. Next, select ‘When saving my recordings, let me choose the FTP account or skip the upload’ as shown on the dialog below.     My Screen Recorder Pro allows you to disable the screen saver when recording is in progress. To disable the screen saver, click Tools >> Settings >> Display. Select the option for 'Disable Screen Saver' under 'Change Windows appearance during recording' section.     In My Screen Recorder Pro, you can use a folder shortcut to select a network location for saving your screen recordings. When the application is launched, a folder with the name "My Recordings" is created in your "My Documents" folder. When you create a screen recording, by default it is saved in the "My Recordings" folder. You can create a folder shortcut to a network folder. To create a new folder shortcut, click File >> Folder Shortcut >> Add. [image: FolderShortcuts3.png] Select the network folder where you want to store the screen recordings. Once you select the folder, you will see a folder shortcut created in 'Folder Shortcuts' list. Now, when creating a schedule, select your new folder shortcut from the 'File output folder:' drop down under the Recording options section.     You can use the text captions function in My Screen Recorder Pro. The caption can be shown for the entire duration of your recording or for a specified duration. To add a text caption, click Effects >> Time and Text Annotations. You will see the 'Time and Text Annotations' dialog. Select 'Display text caption' option under the 'Text Caption' section, you will get the following dialog: [image: Annotations.png] In the Text field enter the website address and set the Font, Style, Alignment, Color, and Position. Select 'Show caption for first' option under Duration section and enter the number of seconds you want to display the caption.     You can set My Screen Recorder Pro to display a message box asking for confirmation before starting recording. While adding a schedule click on the 'New' button under 'Actions to be performed at the start of recording:' section in the New Task dialog. Enter the title, message to be displayed and select the 'OK and Cancel buttons' option from the 'Confirmation' dropdown. You must click 'OK' to start recording or click 'Cancel' to discard it. Finally, click on the 'Preview' button to see a preview of the message box. When your schedule launches, a message box will be shown asking for confirmation to begin.

    My Screen Recorder Pro allows you to trim screen recordings. With the 'Trim File' option you can remove unwanted segments from your recording. Markers are provided to select the start and end frame of each split. Create a segment by moving the slider to the desired position. The shaded area will be trimmed.     While recording the screen, you can hide the task bar using My Screen Recorder Pro. To hide the task bar, click Tools >> Settings >> Display Options. Under 'Change Windows appearance during recording' section, select 'Auto-hide the taskbar' option. [image: SettingsDisplayTab.png] This also works with scheduled recording. Add a schedule to record full screen. When the schedule runs, your screen will be recorded and the task bar will be hidden.

At the time of creating a schedule click on the 'New' button under 'Optional actions to be performed at the end of recording:' section on New Schedule dialog.     Yes, My Screen Recorder Pro has a highlighter function for exactly this use. Whenever you have to explain an important point use the Highlighter to draw you users attention. To highlight a point while recording just press 'F6' or use the key combination which you have set for screen draw in Settings. Then press 'H' to select Highlighter and use the mouse wheel to increase the size of highlighter. Next, drag the highlighter on the respective point on screen to highlight it.     To be able to detect the changes occurring on screen you can configure My Screen Recorder Pro for motion detection recording. In motion detection recording, My Screen Recorder Pro will watch your PC screen, the selected application window or a capture region for any changes. To configure motion detected recording, click on Tools >> Settings >> Recording Options. Select 'Advanced Screen Recording Options' and then choose Record when screen motion is detected.
