    Security Monitor Pro provides the option to delete recorded media from the local drive after it is successfully uploaded. To configure this option, click on the FTP Upload icon on the tool bar. Select the camera name from the list and click on the Configure Upload Settings button. On the FTP Upload settings dialog, check the After uploading, delete media files from this PC option.     WebCam Monitor will automatically try to upload failed files after a network connection gets restored. If a network failure occurs, then upload will stop and all files will be marked as failed. As soon as the network connection is established, the file transfer will start automatically. All the files will be transferred to the FTP account after the connection is re-established.

    You can easily show and hide the mobile screen on your PC while recording is in progress. You can do this using the keyboard shortcuts in My Screen Recorder. First, open My Screen Recorder and go to Tools >> Settings >> Hotkeys. You will see the Mobile screen recording key on the Hotkeys tab. The default keyboard shortcut to record your mobile screen is the Alt+F11 function key. You can change this keyboard shortcut if necessary. Press the hotkey again when you want the mobile screen back in the recording. This way you can effectively complete your presentation by adding or removing the mobile device screen using hotkeys.

    Text Speaker can read aloud text in different languages if you have the appropriate voice installed. You can download trial voices on the Deskshare website for a number of different languages. Once you download a voice, simply install it and launch Text speaker. To change the active voice in Text Speaker, click Tools >> Voice.     Security Monitor Pro automatically detects all the ONVIF and UPnP cameras in your network. If your camera is ONVIF compatible, then the Brand and Model of the camera will be detected automatically. Most new cameras have ONVIF support. To see a list of all the cameras detected by Security Monitor Pro, click the Add Camera button on the toolbar. On the New Camera Settings dialog, all auto-discoverable cameras will be listed in the Cameras Found dropdown list. [image: SMPpost6070.jpg] When the camera search is complete, select a camera from the list to add it to Security Monitor Pro. If the camera is not listed, then it may not support ONVIF or UPnP. You can add the camera manually by selecting the camera brand and model from the list. If you don't find the camera in the list, then contact us to add support for your camera.

    The default date format in WebCam Monitor is MMM-DD-YYYY. You can change the date format from the ‘Edit Webcam’ settings. To change the date format, click File >> Edit WebCam. On the **Labels **tab, click the Configure button for Date and Time stamp label. Then select the required date format from the ‘Date and Time Format’ dropdown list. Click Ok to save the settings.     Screen Cast when used with My Screen Recorder Pro allows you to highlight mouse movements in the recording. This will make your screen recordings effective. To change the appearance of the mouse cursor, go to Tools >> Settings >> Effects. Click the 'Mouse Effects' button and select Display mouse cursor while recording. Choose a shape to highlight the mouse position from the 'Mouse Highlight shape' dropdown list. You can select the size and color of the selected shape. You can also choose to highlight the left mouse click, the right mouse click or both. Click OK to save these settings.     Auto FTP Manager has File and Folder Filters to exclude the specific folders during file transfer. This will allow you to select only the required folders for file transfer. First, you will have to create a connection profile. When you create the automated connection profile, go to Automated Transfer Settings >> File and Folder Filters >> Configure. On the Configure Filters dialog, check the option for Select folder to exclude and click on the Exclude Folders under the FTP server section. Select the folders from which you want to exclude from the transfer. Click OK to save the changes.     You can use Scheduler feature in My Screen Recorder Pro to record the PC screen on user log on. The scheduler also allows you to perform motion detected screen recording. To add a schedule, click Tools >> Schedule Recording. On the 'New Schedule' dialog, select the schedule option as Record when screen motion is detected.     You can view multiple cameras simultaneously using IP Phone Camera along with IP Camera Viewer. On your Windows PC, download IP Camera Viewer. Open IP Phone Camera on both mobile devices and press the 'Start Broadcasting' button to start the broadcasting. You will see the URL on the homepage. Next, open IP Camera Viewer and click on Add Camera on the toolbar. If both cameras are present in the same network then IP Camera Viewer will list all the cameras in the Cameras found the dropdown list. Select a camera, choose the brand as IP Phone Camera and model as Android. Click OK to save the settings.     The Scheduler in Security Monitor Pro allows you start broadcasting, recording or monitoring automatically at specified time. You can use the daily schedule to run these actions every day. To add a schedule, click Tools >> Scheduler. On the Add Schedule dialog, select the Broadcasting action and a Daily schedule type. Select the start date and enter the start time as 19:00. Make sure to enter the time in 24 hour format. Keep the Run for duration as 30 minutes and click OK.     You can put a text label on the camera preview in WebCam Monitor. The text label can be the camera location or the name of the camera. It will be always visible on the camera preview and also shown in the recorded video. To add a text label, click File >> Edit Webcam. Go to the Labels tab, select the Text Caption checkbox.     The Transfer Log in Auto FTP Manager provides information about all events. It shows the Date-Time, Event and the Description of the respective event. The log events are divided into following categories: Command, Response, Status and Error. To view only error events, right click in the Transfer Log where log messages are generated and select Show Error Events option.
