Security Monitor Pro provides the option to delete recorded media from the local drive after it is successfully uploaded. To configure this option, click on the FTP Upload icon on the tool bar. Select the camera name from the list and click on the Configure Upload Settings button. On the FTP Upload settings dialog, check the After uploading, delete media files from this PC option. Click Ok to save the changes. [image: SMPpost6091.jpg] Now, videos and photos captured will be uploaded to the FTP account and will be removed from the PC after upload.

WebCam Monitor will automatically try to upload failed files after a network connection gets restored. If a network failure occurs, then upload will stop and all files will be marked as failed. As soon as the network connection is established, the file transfer will start automatically. All the files will be transferred to the FTP account after the connection is re-established.

IP Phone Camera provides an option to increase the brightness of the camera image from the browser. This will help you to see the camera image clearly in low light situations. First, connect your mobile device to the PC by entering the URL from the application in your PC browser. Once the connection is established, you will see the view captured from your mobile device. Use the slider to adjust the brightness level of the camera image based on your lighting conditions. This way you can see the camera image captured from your mobile device clearly even in low light situations. [image: IPPCpost6086.jpg]

Auto FTP Manager allows connection to FTP server through HTTP, FTP, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 proxies. You can configure the proxy connection details from File >> Settings >> Proxy Server. Select the proxy option from the Connection type drop down list. The proxy setting your select here will apply to all connection profiles. [image: Settings_ProxyServer.png] You can also configure separate proxy connections for each connection profile by clicking on the Configure Proxy Settings link on the Create Connection Profile dialog. You can easily show and hide the mobile screen on your PC while recording is in progress. You can do this using the keyboard shortcuts in My Screen Recorder. First, open My Screen Recorder and go to Tools >> Settings >> Hotkeys. You will see the Mobile screen recording key on the Hotkeys tab. The default keyboard shortcut to record your mobile screen is the Alt+F11 function key. You can change this keyboard shortcut if necessary. [image: SCpost6082.jpg] Once you have selected the hotkey, start recording. Whenever you have to show the document in the demo, press Alt+F11 to hide the mobile screen preview window. Press the hotkey again when you want the mobile screen back in the recording. This way you can effectively complete your presentation by adding or removing the mobile device screen using hotkeys.

You can change the video playback speed in My Screen Recorder Pro from the playback settings. This will help to quickly review a recorded video. To change the playback speed, click Play >> Seek Settings to open the Playback Settings dialog box. Use the slider to set a higher speed for video playback. The maximum playback speed value is 8x. Once you set it, the screen recording will be played at a faster speed and you can review it quickly. [image: SeekSettings_new.png]

IP Phone Camera provides the option to Start broadcasting on app launch. To automatically start broadcasting on launch, open IP Phone Camera and go to Settings. Check the option to Start broadcasting on application launch. Now, whenever you launch the application it will start broadcasting your camera image onto the browser. [image: IPPCpost6078.jpg]

Text Speaker can read aloud text in different languages if you have the appropriate voice installed. You can download trial voices on the Deskshare website for a number of different languages. Once you download a voice, simply install it and launch Text speaker. To change the active voice in Text Speaker, click Tools >> Voice. The installed voice will be listed in the ‘Select Voice’ dropdown list on the Voice Options dialog. Select the voice and click the Test Settings button to test the voice. IP Phone Camera is designed to let you view your mobile device's camera on your PC. You can use the Zoom in feature to view the objects clearly. To connect your mobile device to your PC, both devices should be on the same network. To establish a connection, open IP Phone Camera and press 'Start broadcasting' on the home screen. You will see a URL on the top of the screen, note down the URL. [image: IPPCpost5962.jpg] Next, on your PC open a browser and enter the noted URL. You should now see the parking area view in the browser. Click on the Zoom in (+) option to see the objects that are far away clearly. You can use Zoom out (-) to get back to the original view. Security Monitor Pro automatically detects all the ONVIF and UPnP cameras in your network. If your camera is ONVIF compatible, then the Brand and Model of the camera will be detected automatically. Most new cameras have ONVIF support. To see a list of all the cameras detected by Security Monitor Pro, click the Add Camera button on the toolbar. On the New Camera Settings dialog, all auto-discoverable cameras will be listed in the Cameras Found dropdown list. [image: SMPpost6070.jpg] When the camera search is complete, select a camera from the list to add it to Security Monitor Pro. If the camera is not listed, then it may not support ONVIF or UPnP. You can add the camera manually by selecting the camera brand and model from the list. If you don't find the camera in the list, then contact us to add support for your camera.

The default date format in WebCam Monitor is MMM-DD-YYYY. You can change the date format from the ‘Edit Webcam’ settings. To change the date format, click File >> Edit WebCam. On the **Labels **tab, click the Configure button for Date and Time stamp label. Then select the required date format from the ‘Date and Time Format’ dropdown list. Click Ok to save the settings. [image: WCMpost6068.jpg] Now the selected date format will appear on the webcam preview.

Screen Cast when used with My Screen Recorder Pro allows you to highlight mouse movements in the recording. This will make your screen recordings effective. To change the appearance of the mouse cursor, go to Tools >> Settings >> Effects. Click the 'Mouse Effects' button and select Display mouse cursor while recording. Choose a shape to highlight the mouse position from the 'Mouse Highlight shape' dropdown list. You can select the size and color of the selected shape. You can also choose to highlight the left mouse click, the right mouse click or both. Click OK to save these settings. [image: SCpost6066.jpg] Then click the Record button on the toolbar and make sure you have configured the settings for recording the mobile screen on the Recording Options dialog. Click OK to start recording. The mouse effect will appear when you play back your recording. This way you can make an effective presentation of your mobile application.

Auto FTP Manager has File and Folder Filters to exclude the specific folders during file transfer. This will allow you to select only the required folders for file transfer. First, you will have to create a connection profile. When you create the automated connection profile, go to Automated Transfer Settings >> File and Folder Filters >> Configure. On the Configure Filters dialog, check the option for Select folder to exclude and click on the Exclude Folders under the FTP server section. Select the folders from which you want to exclude from the transfer. Click OK to save the changes. [image: Exclude_subfolders.png] Whenever you start the automated transfer, the selected folders will be excluded from the transfer. The files will be downloaded only from the non-excluded folders.

Using Screen Cast, you can view your mobile screen on any device that has a browser. First, open Screen Cast on your mobile device and select the connection type. Then press Start Broadcasting and provide login details to your students required for connection. [image: SCpost5927.jpg] On each PC, open the browser and enter the URL from Screen Cast. Once the connection has been established, you will see your mobile screen on each PC. This way you can easily give a demo of android application to your students on multiple PCs. Note: Please make sure all Android mobile devices and PC's are on the same network if you are using a Wi-Fi or Mobile Hotspot connection type.

You can use Scheduler feature in My Screen Recorder Pro to record the PC screen on user log on. The scheduler also allows you to perform motion detected screen recording. To add a schedule, click Tools >> Schedule Recording. On the 'New Schedule' dialog, select the schedule option as Record when screen motion is detected. [image: MSRPpost6058_1.jpg] On the next page, select the On Log on schedule type and specify the recording duration. You can also choose the Record until computer logs off option, but the maximum video duration will be 24 hours. Click the Next button and finish the process of adding the schedule. [image: MSRPpost6058.jpg] Every time a user logs in to the PC and motion is detected, screen recording will be performed.

You can add background music in Text Speaker while converting the text file to MP3 audio. The file formats supported for background music are MP3, WAV, AVI, WMA, MPA, ASF, MPEG, MPG, and M1V. Open your document in Text Speaker. Click Speak >> Convert Current File to Audio. On the Audio Properties dialog, look for the Background Music section and select the Add background music to output file checkbox. Click the Browse button to choose the WAV music file that you want to add. Click OK to start conversion. [image: TSpost6055.jpg] The file will be converted to MP3 audio format with your selected WAV file background music.

You can view multiple cameras simultaneously using IP Phone Camera along with IP Camera Viewer. On your Windows PC, download IP Camera Viewer. Open IP Phone Camera on both mobile devices and press the 'Start Broadcasting' button to start the broadcasting. You will see the URL on the homepage. Next, open IP Camera Viewer and click on Add Camera on the toolbar. If both cameras are present in the same network then IP Camera Viewer will list all the cameras in the Cameras found the dropdown list. Select a camera, choose the brand as IP Phone Camera and model as Android. Click OK to save the settings. The Scheduler in Security Monitor Pro allows you start broadcasting, recording or monitoring automatically at specified time. You can use the daily schedule to run these actions every day. To add a schedule, click Tools >> Scheduler. On the Add Schedule dialog, select the Broadcasting action and a Daily schedule type. Select the start date and enter the start time as 19:00. Make sure to enter the time in 24 hour format. Keep the Run for duration as 30 minutes and click OK. [image: SMPpost6051.jpg] The broadcasting action will be started every day at 7PM and it will run for half an hour.

You can put a text label on the camera preview in WebCam Monitor. The text label can be the camera location or the name of the camera. It will be always visible on the camera preview and also shown in the recorded video. To add a text label, click File >> Edit Webcam. Go to the Labels tab, select the Text Caption checkbox. Enter the text label to add and click Ok. [image: WCMpost6047.jpg] After adding labels, click on the **Record **button on the toolbar to start video recording. Note that the text label appears in the recorded video.

The Transfer Log in Auto FTP Manager provides information about all events. It shows the Date-Time, Event and the Description of the respective event. The log events are divided into following categories: Command, Response, Status and Error. To view only error events, right click in the Transfer Log where log messages are generated and select Show Error Events option.
