ScreenCast allows you to have full remote control of your android device while viewing the screen in your web browser. The accessibility permission is required for remote control. We have a video that explains how to enable the accessibility permission. You can use the mouse to scroll and select items. Note that the mouse works the same as if you were using your finger on the screen of your device. A single click is the same as a tap to launch an app. The buttons on the bottom of the screen are provided in case the on-screen device buttons are hidden.

Screen Cast application is designed to work well without interruptions. If you face an issue, there are 2 main reasons why broadcasting may stop. Memory management issues Network speed If your device freezes, stops responding or is stuck on the screen, one of the steps below could fix the issue. Do not keep other applications running which are not required while you use Screen Cast. Devices have a limited amount of memory and it is distributed among the apps. If other applications are running and using more memory space, Screen Cast will not get enough memory space to work efficiently. Use a high-speed network for the continuous broadcast of your mobile screen. Sometimes your app might be responding slowly because of your slow internet speed. Connection speed is important when your app uses network related services. You can start broadcasting again, check the login details and refresh the browser.

Using Screen Cast you can view your mobile screen on any device with a browser. If you have Wi-Fi turned on and you are in the same network as your PC then select the connection type as ‘Wi-Fi network’. If you don't have a Wi-Fi connection, select mobile hotspot and you can connect your PC to the mobile hotspot Screen Cast creates. If your mobile device and PC are far apart then you can use ‘Mobile Data’. This selection will use your mobile network. You can use the browser on your PC to connect to the URL displayed on your mobile screen. To select the connection type, go to Settings in Screen Cast and choose the Connection Type as 'Wi-Fi Network', 'Mobile Hotspot' or ‘Mobile Data’. Screen Cast allows you to broadcast your mobile screen using a ‘Mobile Hotspot’ when you don’t have an Internet connection. First, open the Screen Cast application, select 'Connection Type' as Mobile Hotspot and click ‘Start Broadcasting’. [image: SCpost6214.jpg] Then configure hotspot from your mobile device settings. Note down the URL and password to connect. [image: SCpost6214-1.jpg] Next on your PC, turn on the Wi-Fi and select mobile hotspot. You should see your device's mobile hotspot network name in the Wi-Fi network list. Click on the hotspot created by your device and click the Connect button. Now, open a browser on your PC and enter the URL from your mobile device. You will see your mobile screen on the PC.

You can use ‘Mobile Data’ option in Screen Cast to broadcast your mobile screen to any device with a browser, even when you are not present on the same network. This helps you to provide the display of your mobile screen from anywhere. First, open Screen Cast and select the connection type as ‘Mobile Data’. This is a premium feature and will require a monthly subscription. You can cancel the monthly subscription at any time. [image: SCpost6208.jpg] Next, on the home screen, click ‘Start Broadcasting’ and share the login details shown on your device with your friend. Your friend will receive a message that includes a webpage link and login details. [image: SCpost6208-1.jpg] This way your friend will be able to login on any browser and see your mobile screen.

You can easily show and hide the mobile screen on your PC while recording is in progress. You can do this using the keyboard shortcuts in My Screen Recorder. First, open My Screen Recorder and go to Tools >> Settings >> Hotkeys. You will see the Mobile screen recording key on the Hotkeys tab. The default keyboard shortcut to record your mobile screen is the Alt+F11 function key. You can change this keyboard shortcut if necessary. [image: SCpost6082.jpg] Once you have selected the hotkey, start recording. Whenever you have to show the document in the demo, press Alt+F11 to hide the mobile screen preview window. Press the hotkey again when you want the mobile screen back in the recording. This way you can effectively complete your presentation by adding or removing the mobile device screen using hotkeys.

Screen Cast when used with My Screen Recorder Pro allows you to highlight mouse movements in the recording. This will make your screen recordings effective. To change the appearance of the mouse cursor, go to Tools >> Settings >> Effects. Click the 'Mouse Effects' button and select Display mouse cursor while recording. Choose a shape to highlight the mouse position from the 'Mouse Highlight shape' dropdown list. You can select the size and color of the selected shape. You can also choose to highlight the left mouse click, the right mouse click or both. Click OK to save these settings. [image: SCpost6066.jpg] Then click the Record button on the toolbar and make sure you have configured the settings for recording the mobile screen on the Recording Options dialog. Click OK to start recording. The mouse effect will appear when you play back your recording. This way you can make an effective presentation of your mobile application.

Using Screen Cast, you can view your mobile screen on any device that has a browser. First, open Screen Cast on your mobile device and select the connection type. Then press Start Broadcasting and provide login details to your students required for connection. [image: SCpost5927.jpg] On each PC, open the browser and enter the URL from Screen Cast. Once the connection has been established, you will see your mobile screen on each PC. This way you can easily give a demo of android application to your students on multiple PCs. Note: Please make sure all Android mobile devices and PC's are on the same network if you are using a Wi-Fi or Mobile Hotspot connection type.

You can create a presentation of a mobile device app and use your PC webcam to add yourself in the presentation using My Screen Recorder Pro on your PC and Screen Cast on your mobile device. First, install My Screen Recorder Pro on your PC. Next, open Screen Cast, select the connection type and copy the ID and password to use in My Screen Recorder Pro. The password is optional which can be changed from the application settings. Then open My Screen Recorder Pro and click the Record icon on the toolbar. On the **Recording Options **dialog, select Record Webcam and select the webcam from dropdown list. You will see the camera preview in the window. Now select the Record mobile screen checkbox and configure the settings by providing the ID and password from the Screen Cast app. Click OK to save your settings and start recording. You can continuously broadcast your mobile screen to your PC without any interruption. Generally, the Mobile screen turns off after a screen timeout. To stop this from happening, select Prevent device from sleep and lock mode from Settings. [image: SCpost6037.jpg] Now when you start streaming, your device will not go into sleep and lock mode.

You can view your mobile screen in landscape mode in the browser with Screen Cast. First turn on the 'Auto rotation' of your mobile device. Next, open Screen Cast on your device and note the URL. Open the browser and enter the URL in the browser. My Screen Recorder provides an option to Lock to window. This will record only a selected window. To use this, open My Screen Recorder and click the 'Record' icon on the toolbar. Select the Custom region option from the 'Record Screen' dropdown list. Then select the Record mobile screen option and enter the login details. Click Ok to start recording. [image: SCpost6016.png] You should see the mobile screen along with your PC screen. Click on the mobile screen and the region selection box will appear on the screen. Select the Lock to window option and click the Start Recording button on the ‘Region Selection’ dialog. [image: SCpost6016_1.png] On selecting the option to Lock to window, the mobile screen resizes to stay within the recording boundaries.

You can zoom in and zoom out while recording is in progress using Screen Cast with My Screen Recorder Pro. First, install My Screen Recorder Pro on your Windows PC if you do not already have it. Next, open Screen Cast and note down the ID and password to use in My Screen Recorder Pro. A password is optional which can be changed from the application settings. Now, open My Screen Recorder Pro and click on the Settings icon on the toolbar. Select the Record mobile screen checkbox and configure the settings by providing the ID and password from the Screen Cast application. [image: SCpost5955.jpg] You can see the preview of your mobile screen by clicking the Connect button. Next, go to the Hotkeys tab and set the key combination. By default, the F4 key is used for zoom in and zoom out during screen recording. [image: keyboardshortcutsnew.jpg] A frame will appear on the screen, which indicates the zoom level and also the area getting recorded. You can zoom in and zoom out using the same key combination.

You can use Screen Cast with the PC software: My Screen Recorder Pro to record your mobile app tutorials. My Screen Recorder Pro can help you highlight an important part of the screen during recording. First, install My Screen Recorder Pro on your Windows PC. Next, open Screen Cast, select the connection type and note down the ID and password to use in My Screen Recorder Pro. The password is optional, and can be changed from the Screen Cast application settings. Next, open My Screen Recorder Pro and click on the Settings icon on the toolbar. Select the Record mobile screen checkbox and configure the settings by providing the ID and password from Screen Cast. Click Ok on the Recording Options dialog to start mobile screen recording. Now, your mobile screen will get recorded along with your PC screen. Press F6 to start screen draw effects then use the respective keyboard shortcuts to make your presentation more effective.

Screen Cast provides an option to set a password to prevent anyone from viewing your mobile device screen on their browser. To set the password, open Screen Cast and go to Settings. Select the Require password for viewing Screen Cast option. Then press the back button on your device, you will see the home screen. Click Start Broadcasting to see the ID and password for establishing a connection with your browser. [image: SCpost5927.jpg] Next, open your browser and enter the URL from the Screen Cast app. Enter the password and click the Submit button. You will be able to see your mobile screen on your browser. Screen Cast can record the presentation on your mobile screen along with PC using My Screen Recorder software. Install My Screen Recorder on your PC. Open Screen Cast, select the connection type and note the ID and password to use in My Screen Recorder. The password is optional and can be changed from the application settings. Then click 'Start Broadcasting' to start streaming your mobile screen. [image: SCpost5955_1.jpg] Next, open My Screen Recorder and click the Record icon on the toolbar. On the Recording Options dialog, select the Record mobile screen checkbox and configure the settings by providing the ID and password from Screen Cast. You can see the preview of your mobile screen by clicking the Connect button. Click OK on the Recording Options dialog to start mobile screen recording. [image: SCpost5955.jpg] You can use the hotkey to display your mobile screen on your PC screen. You can also customize the size and position of the mobile screen preview window on your PC.

Screen Cast allows you to send your mobile screen to your PC, Mac, or Tablet. Any device that has a browser can view your Android mobile screen. First, open Screen Cast and select the connection type. Choose 'Wi-Fi', 'Mobile hotspot' or 'Mobile Data' to connect with your PC. If you have Wi-Fi turned on and you are in the same network as your PC then you can stream your mobile screen on your PC. If Android mobile device and PC are not present in the same network then you can use 'Mobile Data' connection type. An optional password can be required for connections, which can be changed from the settings. Now, you will be able to view your mobile screen on the PC.
