The three files are all that is needed to play the video on your website. You can try adding the full URL to your HTML code, but if this does not work it is because you are hosting your site on a web servers can not handle Flash video files. In this case, you can use Video Desk to host your screen recording. Video Desk will generate the embed codes to place on your website and it should work without any issues.

The time lapse feature allows My Screen Recorder Pro to capture 1 frame every x number of seconds, or minutes. This is useful when you want to capture your screen for a long period of time, but don't expect frequent changes. The recorded video can play back in real time, or you can speed up the playback of the file by setting the number of frames to play per second. This can be configured in Tools >> Settings >> Recording Options.

You can record the audio separately from the video in My Screen Recorder. To do this, click on Tools >> Settings >> Recording. De-select the check box for 'Record Video' and My Screen Recorder Pro will create an audio only recording. If you want to record both audio and video and then separate it into two files, one with video and one with audio, you can use Digital Media Converter Pro. Add your recording to Digital Media Converter Pro and convert it to MP3 to get an audio-only file. Add the original recording again and select the Effects button, then reduce the volume to 0 and convert to any video format to get a video-only file.

The default profile in My Screen Recorder Pro is 'Motion and Music Medium Resolution'. This profile will record your 1280x1024 screen with good quality at 930K bits per second. To get the record time for an hour we multiply by 3600 seconds, or approximately 400MB. If you have lower motion on your screen, you can use the Text & Voice profile which will produce a 300MB file for 1 hour of recording.

You can change the recording profile to get higher frame rates. Click the Settings button on the toolbar, click 'Recording Format' and change the Video Profile to "WMV Motion and Music (Very High Resolution)". This should record your online video with good quality. You can also choose a custom profile to get exactly the setting you would like.

The Silverlight player will play WMV files, and it requires WMV streaming information in the file. Digital Media Converter Pro will convert your files to a streaming WMV file format. To reduce the size of the file - click on Select Format, then select WMV for Internet Streaming and click Configure. Choose the Screen Capture setting and convert. You should have a file that is much smaller and provides good viewing quality. Download a free evaluation of Digital Media Converter Pro here.

My Screen Recorder can record audio from the microphone and PC speakers both at the same time. To capture the audio playing on the PC and your microphone, click the Record icon from the tool bar. Select the option to Record microphone audio and Record system audio. Then click the OK button to start recording. [image: MSRpost2469.png] Whenever you will start recording, the audio played on your PC and microphone will be recorded. Note: Please make sure at least one playback device is enabled.

This worked for me too. I had the same problem and now all works fine. In order to make it work (the Audio tuning wizard didn't fix it) I simply recorded a video I was viewing on the screen first as an audio file. After that excercise (which caused me to do the audio tuning wizard again), everything got set accordingly and when I then recorded (the same video) the sound was there. For some reason recording as the audio only (wma) caused my settings to stick for the subsequent video recordings. I called a friend who had experienced the same difficulty and it now works for him too. I believe that this tip will enable a lot of people who try and then give up on this trial, because of no sound, to now buy the product (I am paying for it immediately).

Thanks for your answer. The main issue of my originial posting was, that the AVIs are not useable with Adobe Premiere Pro because there are a lot of artifacts and the video is jumping back and forth. Could you please give some comments on that too instead of cropping this content? Thanks a lot in advance. Spiff.

I like the join-function very much, but why isn't there a possibility to select the output quality? For example: I combined two avi-files of 1Gb each and the result was a file having with 116Mb and comparatively poor quality. Furthermore: audio and video get out of sync after about 3 minutes (only in the combined video). I think, that there would be room for improvements. I would suggest a possibility to enter the target size of the output file - refer to Windows Movie Maker as an example of this functionality. All the best, Spiff.

My Screen Recorder Pro can password-protect executable files. You can convert one or several recordings into an executable file that will play on any Windows computer.

The highest resolution we recommend recording at is 1024x768 pixels. It is possible to record at a higher resolution. The quality of the recording will depend on the resources available on your PC, such as memory and processor speed. If you are using My Screen Recorder Pro to record a dual monitor system, we recommend using 1024x768 pixels resolution or less on each of the monitors.

The screen recording must be saved to a file on the hard drive before burning a CD. My Screen Recorder does not automatically burn a CD. You will have to use separate authoring software to create a CD.
