      Hi,

I have created a good number of Screencasts a couple of years ago using My Screen Recorder Pro and built them as .AVI files.
All of them play nicely in the Windows Media Player.

However I am now enhancing my Web Site using Silverlight and would like to display these screencasts in the Silverlight Media Player. Unfortunately none of these .AVI screencasts would play.

What could I do to convert them to play in Silverlight, while still retaining a small enough size?

      Thanks for your help.

The Silverlight player will play WMV files, and it requires WMV streaming information in the file.

Digital Media Converter Pro will convert your files to a streaming WMV file format.

To reduce the size of the file - click on Select Format, then select WMV for Internet Streaming and click Configure. Choose the Screen Capture setting and convert. You should have a file that is much smaller and provides good viewing quality.
