For Digital Media Converter to list DivX in the list of available video compressor, you must have DivX (player) installed on your computer. You can download DivX from divx.com.

In order to edit the commercials out of a recorded show, it must first be converted to another format. I would recommend you use the All Media Bundle. This includes both Digital Media Converter and Video Edit Magic at a discounted price. Use Digital Media Converter to convert the DVR-MS file to AVI format for editing. Remove the commercials in Video Edit Magic. Video Edit Magic can then create a new file in Windows Media Video (WMV) format.

First, make sure that the VOB file is not encrypted or protected in any way. Another option is to use Digital Media Converter Pro. If you have the DVD, you can rip titles and chapters or the entire DVD directly to any format, without worrying about individual VOB files. When files are uploaded using FTP, they receive the date and time of the FTP server. Auto FTP Manager uses the FTP's MDTM command to set the file's correct date and time after accounting for Time Zone Difference. According to the standards, the MDTM command should get the modification date and time (and not set it). However, many FTP servers like WS_FTP support this useful extension. Windows Server 2003 has a basic FTP server that does not support this extension for the MDTM command. As a result, the uploaded files always get the date and time of the FTP server. Thus, synchronization based on date does not work. We have planned an approach to date-based synchronization that will eliminate Auto FTP Manager's need to rely on the MDTM command. We will include this in one of our future releases.

Here is another way to use multiple monitors: Add all the cameras you want to view across multiple monitors. Click on the Full Preview icon on the tool bar. [image: Full_preview.png] The message "Full Preview Application" will be shown, click Yes. You will have your cameras displayed across all screens.

This worked for me too. I had the same problem and now all works fine. In order to make it work (the Audio tuning wizard didn't fix it) I simply recorded a video I was viewing on the screen first as an audio file. After that excercise (which caused me to do the audio tuning wizard again), everything got set accordingly and when I then recorded (the same video) the sound was there. For some reason recording as the audio only (wma) caused my settings to stick for the subsequent video recordings. I called a friend who had experienced the same difficulty and it now works for him too. I believe that this tip will enable a lot of people who try and then give up on this trial, because of no sound, to now buy the product (I am paying for it immediately).

Go to https://www.thegreenbutton.com Go to "Download Center" Download the DVR-Edit software and other Tools IF you think you will use them. There all FREE I Edit my DVR-MS files first and then use Digital Media Converter I take a One Hour show and cutout about 15min, moving the file size from 2.3GB to about 1.8GB that will save time converting you files. Text Speaker has a highlighting feature to focus on the word or character as it is read aloud. You can disable and enable this option whenever you need. To disable the highlighting, go to the Settings dialog. On the General settings tab, uncheck the ‘Highlight words when reading’ option under ‘General Preferences’ section. You can record multiple monitor screens with My Screen Recorder Pro using the custom region recording feature. To start custom region recording, click on the Record icon on the tool bar. Select the Custom Region option from the dropdown list. Click OK to start recording. Next, select the recording region by dragging the cross hair mouse pointer across both the monitors. [image: customregion_crop.jpg] Both monitor screens will be recorded and you will get a wide screen recording. Note: Record the screen from 2 monitors will work on My Screen Recorder Pro.

One other possibility is that you might have entered the wrong HTTP port number. The Pan/Tilt commands need the correct HTTP port number to work.

[/quote] I was having the same problem because I had both speakers and mic selected. When I turned off the speakers it took only a few seconds to save as opposed to 10 minutes with both selected.

yes. I have an FI9826W and it works in IP Camera Viewer. Therefore, it should work in Security Monitor Pro, too.
