Hi, so far I have learned that I have three IPs, one public or external router which is dynamis but I turn static, the second the internal router which is 192.168.1.1 always and the third the IP of my PC which is 192.168.1.2 always. I have to forward one port in order to make routable my IP address and used for viewing a streamed video. So when I get into my router and open a port they ask me for an internal port so I wrote 192.168.1.2 (My PC IP) and a port whatever Then I write the same port in my WCM settings. But when I try to wacth from my office the windows media player show me a message,"Windows Media Player cannot play the file because a network error occurred. The server might not be available. Verify that you are connected to the network and that your proxy settings are correct." So what am I doing wrong?, please I really need help on this. Just in case I use OS Windows XP in both places in my house I have speedy 200 from telefonica and XAVI7768 router in my office I have speedy 600 from telefonica and XAVI 7768router. In my home I have 304Mb RAM memory in my PC thanks

With Digital Media Converter, you can convert complete VOB files to any of the supported video formats including MPEG-2. The chapter information on a VOB disk is present in separate files and is not part of the video. Digital Media Converter will thus convert only the video.

After some further investigation in turns out the reason for receiving the smtp errors was that I was blocking all outbound traffic to port 25 via virusscan. Disabling this solves the problem.

In order to view the streaming video from outside your home network, you will have to set your LinkSys router to use "Port Forwarding". This should make the video stream available outside your local network. Dyndns.org would let you assign a domain name (such as yourname.dyndns.org) to your video stream. Another site that will do this for you is no-ip.org. Both offer free services. There are several other alternatives.

Digital Media Converter can auto-select both video and audio compressors based on "Best Quality", "High Compression" and "Most Compatible". Use the auto-select feature to let Digital Media Converter select an appropriate video and audio compressor. You can then change the video compressor to DivX. To auto-select: On the Tools menu, select Settings. From the Convert to Format drop-down, select AVI. Select the Properties tab From the Auto select settings (for compression) based on drop-down, select "Best Quality", "High Compression" or "Most Compatible" depending on your requirement. The three files are all that is needed to play the video on your website. You can try adding the full URL to your HTML code, but if this does not work it is because you are hosting your site on a web servers can not handle Flash video files. In this case, you can use Video Desk to host your screen recording. Video Desk will generate the embed codes to place on your website and it should work without any issues.

You can reduce the number of snaps taken by WebCam Monitor. To do so: On the Monitor menu, click Settings. Select the Take Snap alert. Under the General tab, reduce the number of snaps. WebCam Monitor can send email when an alert is triggered. Most mobile phone companies offer an email-to-SMS service. You can send email to a specific address and have it delivered to your phone as a text message. For instance, the Spanish phone company Movistar uses ####@correo.movistar.net. Substitute your mobile number for "####" and your WebCam Monitor alerts will be delivered to your Movistar phone. There is no charge for this service beyond the normal cost of receiving a text message.

This may be a problem with the Windows configuration on your PC. We were able to simulate this problem on an older Windows 2000 PC. We are looking into the problem. If you have access to another PC then you try configuring WebCam Monitor on that PC.

YxPlayer for the Android will stream mms, and the new ArcMedia Player may work for the Android also.
