You can have all the versions of your file preserved in the destination, you just need to rename your files while downloading. Auto FTP Manager makes this easy using conflict resolutions. If you have already created an automated transfer profile then select your profile from the 'Profile List' and click on the 'Edit Profile' icon on the toolbar. Next, go to the 'Specify Automated Transfer Settings' page. [image: AFMPost4721.png] Under the 'Conflict Resolution' section, change the 'Overwrite Always' option to 'Append date and time' in the dropdown control. When the schedule launches, the file will be downloaded and it will be renamed with the current date and time. So you can keep all the versions of your file in the destination folder.

Auto FTP Manager will transfer to and from anything that can be mapped to a local drive letter or a network share. Google drive resides as a folder on your PC that Auto FTP Manager will read and write from. This also works with Microsoft Onedrive, Dropbox and many others. At this time, Amazon Cloud drive can only be accessed through a web interface or a Amazon cloud application.

Transferring a single small file may take more time to initialize and close the transfer than to make the transfer itself. Auto FTP Manager allows you to maximize the available bandwidth by transferring multiple files simultaneously. To configure settings, go to File >> Settings >> Connection and choose Use Maximum transfer channels allowed by the FTP account. Click Ok to save the settings. [image: connection_settings.png] After making the change, the File Manager will transfer multiple files a time, as long as your FTP server allows multiple logins, up to 5 simultaneous transfers.

Auto FTP Manager can run your schedules as a service. Make sure the option 'Perform Automated Transfer' is checked so that your automated transfer takes place at the scheduled time. To have the scheduled transfer occur even if the Windows is logged off or locked at the scheduled time, just enable the option Login to run the schedule even if your system is Logged Off. [image: Schedule.png] This option allows the profile to run as a background Windows Task at the scheduled time. When you enable this option, you will need to specify the Windows user name and the password. This can be a local Windows account, or if you are part of a Active Directory network, it can be a Domain account. Make sure the username you choose has adequate permission to access the folders you have specified in your FTP profile.

The 550: too many connections error indicates you have multiple connections to your FTP server. Make sure you do not have multiple scheduled transfers running simultaneously. Please check your schedules and make sure they do not overlap to the same FTP server. Also, your FTP may only allow 1 transfer at a time. If this is the case, you can adjust the FTP settings to use 1 FTP transfer channel as displayed here: [image: Connection-Settings_.png]
