    In Auto FTP Manager you can create automated transfer profile that transfer files based on file name patterns using filters. You can select the file type that gets transferred for example .mp3, .mp4. If you want to transfer files based on file name, then enter the keyword in the text field like ‘test’ with which the file name begins. This will only transfer the files that begin with specified keyword. To transfer files based on file type, select the file extension from the list or enter the file extension if you don't find it in list and click on include button.     Yes, you can use the synchronize option in Auto FTP Manager. After you have created an automated transfer profile, go to the Action rules page and select the synchronize option. With this setting both folders will have the same files. Make sure you have selected the correct folder location on both the source and destination.     Yes, Auto FTP Manager allows you to connect to FTP as well as SFTP servers. You will have to create different Automated or Quick connect connection profiles. Create one profile for the FTP server and the other profile to connect to the SFTP server. Specify the FTP address, port number, username and password.     Use a filter for the file type in Auto FTP Manager to select just the files you want to transfer. Select the ‘File Type’ option on Configure Filters dialog. Next, enter .pdf, .doc, and .docx file extensions and click on the ‘Include’ button. Click OK. With this filter only PDF files and word documents will be downloaded.     You can do this using the filtering options in Auto FTP Manager. While creating an automated transfer profile add a filter for ‘File Name’. Choose to ‘Include file names Beginning with’, enter the characters in the text box. This will only transfer the files with name beginning with the specified characters.     You can use a weekly schedule in Auto FTP Manager. Add a schedule while creating an automated transfer profile. Click on the ‘Configure’ button under the ‘Schedule Transfers’ section.     Yes, you can do this by using filters in Auto FTP Manager. Use the filter for ‘Modification Date:’ and choose to ‘Exclude‘ the files that are older than ’N’ number of days.     Yes, you can start a file transfer as soon as Auto FTP Manager starts. Just add a schedule to run the file transfer on application launch. Select the ‘On Application Launch’ option on the Configure Schedule dialog and click OK button. Re-start the application, and the file transfer will begin.     Yes, Auto FTP Manager can start a transfer when there is a folder change. Add a new schedule for transferring files on a folder change. Auto FTP Manager will check the selected folder on the time interval you select. If there are any changes within the folder, the file transfer will begin. When creating the connection profile, select the ‘Skip file transfer’ option in the drop down under the conflict resolution section.     Auto FTP Manager's exclude folder function will allow you to perform your transfer. You have to create your Automated Transfer Profile, and click on the 'Configure' button for file and folder filters on the Action rules page. You will see the Configure Filters dialog.
