In WebCam Monitor you can set the time to continue recording for some seconds after the most recent motion detection event. Set this time from the ‘Video Recording Settings’ window. [image: Video_Recording_Settings.png] Select the time from 10 seconds to a maximum of 60 seconds. When motion is detected, recording will continue for the time you have selected as long as no new motion detection event occurs within the selected time. If any new motion event occurs within the selected time then recording will continue for the specified time from that point. This will make sure that no motion events are missed in recording. You can have different names for your cameras and the images captured from respective cameras. Here is how to do this in WebCam Monitor: From photo settings, change the image file name. Uncheck the 'Use camera name' check box. [image: Photo_Settings.png] Enter the file name prefix you would like. WebCam Monitor allows you to select a video quality. You can set the video quality in the 'Video Recording Settings' form as shown below: [image: Video_Recording_Settings.png] By default, your videos are recorded at a bit rate of 700 kbps. The quality of recording depends on the bit rate you select. High bit rates result in clear and sharp recordings, but large file sizes. Low bit rates give small file size recordings, but the quality may be reduced. Use high bit rates with high resolution cameras and high frame rates. When you have a low-resolution camera and low frame rates, using lower bit rates will give acceptable recordings while saving a lot of disk space.

When you are at work, create another schedule and select 'Monitoring Actions selected in camera settings' on Add Schedule dialog.
