Converting a VVF file from my digital video recorder to AVI format

The VVF file format from your digital video recorder is proprietary and cannot be converted. The solution I suggest is to install My Screen Recorder on the PC that can view your VVF file. During playback, you can use My Screen Recorder to screen capture the video to a AVI file. Then you can view the file on any PC or burn to DVD and view on any video DVD player. You can download My Screen Recorder here: https://www.deskshare.com/screen-recorder.aspx

My Screen Recorder Pro can save in AVI, WMV, MP4 and WebM format. To create a DVD, I suggest saving in WMV format and using our free software DVD Author Plus to burn the recording to a video DVD. The video DVD will play in any home DVD player. You can download My Screen Recorder Pro here: https://www.deskshare.com/download_details.aspx?ID=21 You can download DVD Author Plus here: https://www.deskshare.com/download_details.aspx?ID=31

Yes, broadcasting will work when you have multiple IP addresses. Turning on broadcasting in WebCam Monitor will make the video stream available on all IP addresses. You can view it remotely on any of the internal IP addresses 192.168.x.x or your public IP address 71.94.x.x More information on IP addresses and broadcasting is available here: https://www.deskshare.com/help/WCM/assigning_staticip.aspx

Yes, use Auto FTP Manager's settings for synchronize will make the DVR and NAS have identical files. The synchronize can be configured in the Action Rules. If your DVR removes older files, the synchronize setting will also remove the same older files from the NAS. In this case your files will be transferred since the NAS will not get full, but instead be a mirror of the DVR files.

My Screen Recorder Pro will record for as long as you have disk space - there is no limit from the software. A CD will hold a recording of about 3 hours using the default video profile. With the Pro version you can even create a self-playing executable to put on CD. We have an article that explains how to distribute self-playing executables: https://www.deskshare.com/resources/articles/msrpro_GenerateExecutables.aspx
