      I have a digital video recorder that creates VVF files. I am able to view them from within the software.

      I would like to to be able to send the footage I have to someone to see. Is there a way I can convert it to AVI file format for viewing on another PC? Maybe some way to burn it to a DVD?

        The VVF file format from your digital video recorder is proprietary and cannot be converted.

        The solution I suggest is to install My Screen Recorder on the PC that can view your VVF file. During playback, you can use My Screen Recorder to screen capture the video to a AVI file. Then you can view the file on any PC or burn to DVD and view on any video DVD player.
