Can DMC select a section of a movie?

I was wondering if Digital Media Converter can extract a portion of a movie and save it separately from the main movie? Also, can this be done without changing the main movie?

Yes, you can use Digital Media Converter's "Split" feature to extract a portion of the movie. The instructions for splitting files are here: https://www.deskshare.com/help/dmc/splitmediafile.aspx.

Splitting has no effect on the original movie. Digital Media Converter never changes the original files when it converts them.
