Also, can this be done without changing the main movie?</p>

The instructions for splitting files are here:  <a href="https://www.deskshare.com/help/dmc/splitmediafile.aspx" rel="nofollow ugc">https://www.deskshare.com/help/dmc/splitmediafile.aspx</a>.</p>
<p dir="auto">Splitting has no effect on the original movie.  Digital Media Converter never changes the original files when it converts them.</p>
