Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could help me with this. No matter what video I try to convert I get 2 different errors, one says that I need to download an MPEG-2 Converter. I download it and restart, but nothing happens. The other error says that it couldn't load the file. The log says:

Writing log for: C:\Documents and Settings\Foust\Desktop\VegetaBBA.avi

      Checking for valid Path.
      Checking filename length.
      Checking file size.
Cheking if file is copy protected.
      Determining file type.
      Check if avi file renders.
      Exception occured on last command.

To resolve the problem with the MPEG 2 decoder, I recommend upgrading to the latest version of Digital Media Converter, which you can find here:
        https://www.deskshare.com/download_details.aspx?ID=18

This is a free upgrade for all owners of Digital Media Converter 2.x.

Try to play the AVI file that is not rendering using the Windows Media Player. Often, this will solve the problem by automatically downloading the correct decoders. It may also be helpful to upgrade Media Player to the latest version, which can be downloaded free of charge from Microsoft here:
        https://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/default.aspx
