You can easily dictate in the Spanish language with Dictation Pro. This speech recognition software allows you to dictate in multiple languages. To dictate in Spanish, the language should be installed on your computer. To install the Spanish language on your PC, select the Start button, then select Settings > Time & Language > Region & Language. Next, select Add a language and you will be shown all the languages that Windows 10 currently supports. Choose the language as ‘Spanish (Spain)’. Then click ‘Install’ to start downloading the Language Pack and Speech. You can use the voice commands New Line and New Paragraph in Dictation Pro for inserting a line break and a paragraph at any point within your document. Note: While using formatting commands, you must press and hold the control key. Otherwise Dictation Pro will recognize the command as text and not as a command. See this link for all the voice commands provided by Dictation Pro: https://www.deskshare.com/help/dp/VoiceCommandControl1.aspx

A good quality microphone on the headset will improve the recognition rate on Dictation Pro. In the office, I use a Plantronics Wireless USB headset and it works well. I have also used Creative and Logitech headsets with good results.

Dictation Pro supports commands - no training is required. To use a command, please press and hold the control key before you say the command. If you don't press the control key, Dictation Pro will convert your speech to text and not know you are trying to use a formatting command. For example, to insert a line break and a paragraph at any point in your document, hold control and use the voice commands 'New Line' and 'New Paragraph'.

It sounds like Dictation Pro is working, you may not be pressing the correct key for the voice command. Please make sure you are pressing the control key when you use the voice command. Some microphones may not reset correctly after training. When training is completed, exit from Dictation Pro and restart it. Click on the microphone icon in the toolbar to turn on the microphone and then begin dictating.

Dictation Pro works with a wide variety of microphones. We find that USB microphones work better than analog microphones since there is no analog to digital conversion. Headset microphones perform well for internet telephony but are not the best for recording or dictation since it is difficult to control voice popping and sibilance. For dictation and audio voice narration, it is best to use a unidirectional microphone with a pop screen to filter out hisses and pops from the environment and the narrators speech. Here are a few popular headsets that work well: Logitech ClearChat Comfort Plantronics USB Headset Creative ChatMax Headset
Dictation Pro works better with a high quality microphone. If you have changed microphones, please make sure to select the new microphone. Do this by clicking Speech >> Test Microphone. Once it is selected, I suggest performing the voice training again to get the best recognition rate. View this link for information about correctly configuring your microphone.
Thanks for the info! The new headset gives me more accurate dictation!

It sounds like you are releasing the control key too quickly. Try holding down the control key until you have said the entire voice command, and the command action is completed.
