WebCam Monitor will display a live preview of your camera even while motion detection is running. When you start monitoring for motion detection, the preview area will be highlighted with a red border when motion is detected. The alerts you have configured will be performed when motion is detected, such as video recording, taking photos, or email notifications. Security Monitor Pro supports all standard mail servers. When you are sending a test email, make sure you have entered the connection details correctly. Looking at your error message, it appears you have not selected the correct security settings from the Connection Security drop down on the Email Notification Settings window.
