If the source audio is scratchy then the converted audio will also be scratchy. However, if the source video is fine then you can increase the audio frequency setting from the AVI Properties tab of the Settings dialog box. By increasing the audio frequency, the conversion will not lose audio quality. The audio frequency setting for AVI is available in the latest version of Digital Media Converter.
