Converting MPEG 2 file to AVI creates a file with large dimensions. In this case, selecting the correct AVI compressor becomes crucial. We found that Cinepak video compressor and Uncompressed audio gives the best results. Newer or faster PCs generally do not show any noticeable synchronization problems in the output AVI file. This problem only occurs when playing AVI files on slower machines.
