The Folder Watcher will convert any type of video you place inside the folder. A common use of the Folder Watcher is for Media Center files. If you select a Apple format, iPod, iPad, iPhone or Apple TV then Digital Media Converter Pro will automatically add your files to iTunes. More details on automatically adding to iTunes is available on this page: https://www.deskshare.com/help/dmcpro/ConvertForIPod.aspx

Security Monitor Pro supports USB and IP cameras. If you are purchasing new camera's, I suggest selecting an IP camera. Some good brands are Asante, Vivotek, Axis, and Trendnet. For a bullet type camera with infrared night vision, the Vivotek 8332 works well. Here is an article that explains the difference between CCTV and IP cameras and may help you select the right camera for your surveillance setup: https://www.deskshare.com/resources/articles/wcm_SecurityCamera.aspx

You can use the effects in Digital Media Converter to rotate your video. Add your file, then select your conversion format. Next, click on 'Effects' in the toolbar and select the checkbox to 'Rotate 180 Degrees'. You can also use effects to adjust the brightness and contrast of your video if necessary.
