I start with DVR-MS and convert to DV AVI.

The Duration of my DVR-MS file is about 1 hour 10 minutes. The converted DV-AVI file plays fine in Windows Media Player.

If I try to import it into Adobe Premiere to edit, Adobe thinks file is about 3 minutes in length, acts like remaining 1 hour 7 minutes aren't there. The first few minutes play fine in Adobe preview.

I have tried to adjust CODEC compatibility, using only Main Concept, but I get the same result.

      Any ideas?

I am not sure why Adobe Premiere does not read it correctly, since it is playing fine in Windows Media Player.

You can try converting the file into AVI (not DV AVI).

        The resulting file should work.
