Delay after recording before next motion detection

Why is there such a delay between when motion is detected/video recorded and the next detection.
For example if a motion is detected at 13:09 and video recording starts and continues until 13:11 (because video length is set to 120)
Then it says a 120 sec video was recorded.
Although the motion is continuous the next detect is not for another 5 minutes. A lot can happen in 5 minutes.
Is there a way to resolve this issue?

Please uninstall and reinstall WebCam Monitor.
