When the motion detection detects a change it takes and then emails up to 5 photos per minute. My email server is being overloaded. This includes turning off monitoring manually on leaving and entering.

      Many thanks

WebCam Monitor's E-mail Notification Alert generates and sends an e-mail instantly when motion or noise is detected. It is important to report an alert as quickly as possible.

If you want to reduce the amount of e-mail then you can simply reduce the Motion and Noise Sensitivity settings from Tools ] Options ] Monitoring.

The size of the JPEG image that is part of the e-mail is only 3K. If you have enough bandwidth then it should be easy for you to receive these e-mails. There is a setting to reduce the JPEG quality to further reduce the size of the e-mail, which will result in a faster e-mail delivery. This setting is in the Take Snaps Settings (Tools ] Options ] Monitoring ] Snaps Configuration).
