How do I fix error code 421 from my FTP server?

I upgraded to version 5.1, and I am now getting this error during transfers - "error code 421. Too many connections (8) from this IP." How can I fix this?

Auto FTP Manager version 5 connects to your FTP server with more than one connection. The multiple connections increase transfer speeds when you are transferring large numbers of files.
It looks like your FTP server is blocking multiple connections. You can contact the administrator of the FTP server to allow multiple connections for your account, or you can configure Auto FTP Manager to use a single connection during transfers by clicking File >> Settings >> Connection and select 'Use 1 transfer channel when connecting to an FTP account'.
