Conversion progress restarts

Hi!
During conversion the conversion status progress always restarts at least once, and that is why conversion time of an hour TV-program kan take upp to 6 hours. Is it possible to avoid this restarting or is it a normal characteristic of DMC?

The conversion process is not restarting. Conversion from DVR-MS to another format occurs in up to 7 phases, and each phase shows progress from zero to 100%. If the "Conversion Status" column of Digital Media Converter is not wide enough, the "Phase 1" and later phase notifications, which appear at the end of that column's information, may not be visible.
