Starting file transfers from a script

I am looking for a FTP client that can allow me to run a file transfer from a script. Does Auto FTP Manager has this functionality?

Auto FTP Manager supports command line parameters. The command-line interface lets you use a script to Automate Transfers. You need to have a registered version of Auto FTP Manager to use this feature.
