Can I record at a bit rate higher then 248 kbps?

I purchased WebCam Monitor and I am bit confused on the bit rate limit. Am I limited to a bit rate of a max of 248 kbps on a scheduled recording alert? Is it the same bit rate limit on manual record?
If the pro version has the ability to record a higher bit rate, can I upgrade to it? Appreciate your assistance.

The WebCam Monitor bit rate of 248kbps is the same for scheduled recording and for manual video recording.
