I just bought a JVC camcorder. It uses the .MOD file format (and I don't like the software that came with the camera). I can't figure out how to add the .MOD files to Digital Media Converter. Are these files supported?

I have created a good number of Screencasts a couple of years ago using My Screen Recorder Pro and built them as .AVI files.
All of them play nicely in the Windows Media Player.

However I am now enhancing my Web Site using Silverlight and would like to display these screencasts in the Silverlight Media Player. Unfortunately none of these .AVI screencasts would play.

What could I do to convert them to play in Silverlight, while still retaining a small enough size?
