Security Monitor Pro detects and highlights the motion event on camera preview. To highlight detected motion on camera preview, select 'Manage camera' from tool bar, then choose the camera and click on 'Edit Camera'. On actions tab, click on 'Motion Settings' button. [image: SMPpost5371_1.jpg] Now select the ‘Highlight motion movements in:’ option and choose the color from the drop down. If you don't want to highlight the camera border then uncheck the ‘Highlight camera border in red color’ option. [image: SMPpost5371.jpg] Right click on camera preview and start monitoring action. Whenever motion is detected, it will be highlighted in the selected color. [image: SMPpost5371_2.jpg]

Security Monitor Pro can run an alarm when there is a network failure. To configure this setting, click on the 'Settings' option on tool bar. In General tab, select the option ‘When network failure occurs, turn on audio alarm:’. You can also select duration to run the alarm from the drop down list. Whenever the camera connection fails due to network failure, the audio alarm will start. [image: SMPpost5349.jpg]
