    • Can't Retain Aspect Ratio in Custom MPG Formats

      Hello.

I'm trying out Digital Media Converter and am encountering a problem with the Aspect Ratio.

If I convert a video file to AVI format, the aspect ratio is retained, which is what I want.

However, if I convert a video clip to one of the custom MPEG formats, the screen is stretched. The aspect ratio is not maintained.

I did read a thread in this forum that discussed screen dimensions, and followed the instructions by changing the Video Dimensions.

I did go into settings, and I did change the Video Dimensions.
The original aspect ratio is 320 x 240, which is what I set the Video Dimensions at.

However, when I converted the video files, again, the result is a stretched screen.

So, the custom Video Dimensions settings apparently aren't taking hold. I simply can't retain the aspect ratio, even after configuring it manually.

Am I doing something wrong? Thank you for your assistance. J. Danniel
