I have a question: what if a hard disk failure occurs in the system where Security Monitor Pro is running, or anything that causes system failure? How can I retrieve the newly recorded files to make sure that I have all the video recordings?

System failures can occur for a variety of reasons, but that should not affect your entire security system. To protect against this scenario you can use Security Monitor Pro in a Multiple-Station Surveillance System.
