Hardware recommendations for recording 16 IP cameras continuously

Could you send me the system requierments for monitor and record full day 16 cameras? I need to know how much cpu and ram and video card.

For monitoring 16 IP cameras I recommend using a Intel quad-core i7 processor and 8GB of RAM or higher. A 2TB drive will be able to store 15 days of continuous recording from 16 cameras at Security Monitor Pro's 512k bit rate setting. If you are only recording on motion detection you or using a lower bit rate setting, you will be able to store a much longer time period on the 2TB drive.
