What is the suggested procedure for deleting stored images?

After I send motion alerts to myself with emails of events those jpegs are being stored in \SMP Data\Media\pics
Whats is the suggested procedure for deleting the last X pics or even all pics for that matter?

Security Monitor Pro has built in functions to remove older videos and images.
Click Tools >> Application Settings >> General. Under the Media File Options select 'Auto delete files older than 7 days'. You can set the software to delete files after one day if you no longer require the images.
