Need to record several videos so I can save them as local files (they're currently cloud based and accessible by streaming). Is there a way to do this without having to listen to the audio and yet still record the audio? In other words, is there a way to record the speaker feed (capture the audio) even if I mute my speaker?

      Thanks for any help.

Yes, you can record streaming videos without having to listen to the audio. You will need to have external speakers with a separate volume control.

Play your video and adjust the Windows volume to your normal level. On the external speakers, turn down the volume all the way. Do not turn off the external speakers, and do not mute the speakers from Windows. I suggest making a couple of short test recordings with My Screen Recorder to make sure you have it setup correctly.
