Hi there!

I've selected different mouse pointers and movement settings, but I cannot see them.

When I go back into the effect option panel, it remembers the effect that I had selected. How can I view the different options?

The mouse pointer effects in My Screen Recorder Pro are used to help your audience follow your movements.

You can select the options from Tools > Settings > Effects. Please see this page for an illustration:

You can see the changes in the included test area. Any changes you make are reflected in your recordings.
