Using an external drive for storing camera recordings

I have an external hard drive connected to my PC. Is it possible to set all recordings to be saved in this external hard drive? I do not have a large storage capacity in my PC hard drive.

Yes, you can use the external drive as storage.
Launch Security Monitor Pro, click Tools > Application Settings. Under the Media File Options click Browse and select the drive you would like to save recordings on.
