Highlighting words as they are being read

Can you tell me why the text that is being read is not highlighted anymore as it was in the past.

Can this issue be remedied/fixed ???

Yes, Text Speaker can highlight words as they are read. To turn this feature on, click Tools >> Settings. Under the General Preferences, select 'Highlight word when reading'.
