      Hello,

I have downloaded the trial version of Security Monitor Pro, ver. 4.3.

Can I set up this to send E-mail Notification using my Gmail Account? When I try to Send Test E-mail Message from Security Monitor Pro, I get this error on "Find outoing mail server:
"Error: SMTP protocol errror. 530.5.7.0 Must issue a START TLS command first. q58sm2625369eeh.15."
That makes sence, becuase my Outlook Gmail Email account is setup with Outoing server (SMTP = 587, and TLS as type of encrypted connection.

Please advise how to solve this problems.

      Thanks!

You can use Security Monitor Pro with your Gmail account.

Start TLS and SSL refer to a secure connection. When you configure the email in Security Monitor Pro, select 'Outgoing mail server requires a secure connection (SSL)'. The port number for Gmail's secure SSL connections is 465. Update the info and your email will now be sent.
