Sending motion activated email alert with a SMTP STARTTLS command

Hi,

I did a email test after entering data in the email notification area. The Email sending failed because: smtp protocol error 5305.7.0 must issue a STARTTLS command first 29sm647806yhl.5.

What do I do next please and thanks.

Turn on the secure email (SSL) SMTP setting in Security Monitor Pro.

Edit your camera profile, select Alerts then click 'Configure' next to Email settings and Configure Email Settings. Check the box for 'Outgoing mail server requires a secure connection (SSL)'. This should allow you to send your email.
