I would like to know if there is any way to get an alert when a network connection failure occurs.</p>

You can specify duration for audio alarm. By default it will keep running until you manually stop it.</p>
<p dir="auto">To configure settings for audio notification, click on the <strong>Settings</strong> icon from tool bar. On the <strong>General</strong> tab, select the <strong>When network failure occurs, turn on audio alarm</strong> option and select the time duartion from dropdown. Then click OK to save these settings.</p>

<p dir="auto">Now, if you are monitoring cameras and a network failure occurs, an audio alarm will be sounded.</p>
