I have approximately 30 cameras and plan to expand. I only want to view at the most eight at a time. Can I connect all the cameras and switch between the cameras? Or how does this work?

You do not need to have them all displayed on the screen at the same time.

The camera preview layout will allow you display 8 previews on your screen and then automatically rotate in sets of 8 at a time. Set the Cycle rate in the general settings to control the number of seconds for the cycle time. Use drag and drop to rearrange the order of the cameras.
