The Panasonic directly writes to a DVD disc. I wish to transfer the DVD to my computer to MPEG format and then trim it in a video editor.

The problem is there are 5 VOB files on the DVD but I want one continuous MPEG file.

Is it possible to end up with one file?

Rip DVD Plus will even allow you to crop and trim the video, so a video editor is not needed.
