<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0"><channel><title><![CDATA[Recording from speakers on a Dell PC in Vista and Windows 7]]></title><description><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">I have been having trouble recording from speakers on my Dell PC - and I spent hours on tech support with Dell with no results.  I finally found a solution, and I would like to post it to help some of the other Dell owners that are having this problem.</p>
<p dir="auto">The work around is as follows:</p>
<p dir="auto">Download XP version of Sigmatel driver R17189.exe<br />
Run to expand but do not install.<br />
Go to the expanded folder and right click on setup.exe and change compatibility to XP SP3<br />
Then double click on setup.exe</p>
<p dir="auto">I now have a "Stereo Mix" and <a href="https://www.deskshare.com/video-screen-capture.aspx" rel="nofollow ugc">My Screen Recorder Pro</a> records from speakers.</p>
