If you are using Windows XP or 2000, you may not have the Xvid decompressor installed on your PC.  In that case, you can do any of these things:</p>
<ol>
<li>
<p dir="auto">Install the Xvid decompressor from <a href="https://www.xvidmovies.com" rel="nofollow ugc">https://www.xvidmovies.com</a>.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p dir="auto">Reconvert the files using a different video compressor, such as Microsoft MPEG 4.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p dir="auto">Convert to a different video format, such as Windows Media Video (WMV).</p>
</li>
