I have my holiday video on a nice dvr-ms file and the only way I can put it onto my PC is via Media Centre.

Not only would I like to convert the files, I would like to edit them.

So I converted the files and when I try to edit them. I hear sound but there is no picture - just a green screen.

Anyone had this problem? Any advice? Is there a program to allow me to edit the files in their original format?

Any advice appreciated,

Thanks,

Peter.

The WMV file you create should work perfectly in your video editor and it will be much smaller than the original DVR-MS file.
