<![CDATA[WebCam Monitor detects USB camera but does not preview]]>WebCam Monitor recognizes that I have a camera connected to the PC via USB, allows me to select it, yet can't preview. Error message is as follows:

"Capture device error, default, or selected video device may be in use by another application or is disconnected."

Am I missing a driver provided by the camera manufacturer (Panasonic)?

Please use the software that came with your camera to reduce the resolution to 1024x768 pixels or less. Restart WebCam Monitor and see whether you can now preview the camera.
