<![CDATA[Converting VOB to AVI - Xvid Compressor locks up]]>The VOBs are not encrypted. They are from a DVD that I created.

I am trying to convert from VOB to AVI. It seems to get through almost the entire process, then it quickly opens a window to XVid and locks up the DMC program where it will not respond.

I am using Vista, if that matters.

Is there a fix for this?

There are many versions of Xvid, and we have found problems with some of them. The version we recommend can be downloaded from our web site:
