They are from a DVD that I created.</p>
<p dir="auto">I am trying to convert from VOB to AVI. It seems to get through almost the entire process, then it quickly opens a window to XVid and locks up the DMC program where it will not respond.</p>
<p dir="auto">I am using Vista, if that matters.</p>
<p dir="auto">Is there a fix for this?</p>

There are many versions of Xvid, and we have found problems with some of them.  The version we recommend can be downloaded from our web site:</p>
