I have tried converting avi files to a number of different formats (avi, mpg, wmv) and all have the same result. Is there something I can do to correct this?</p>

When you play the files in the Windows Media Player, does the picture display normally?  If you don't see the picture, you need to locate and download the correct codec.  Media Player should automatically locate the codec and prompt you to download it.</p>
<p dir="auto">Another option is to download <a href="https://www.deskshare.com/dmcpro.aspx" rel="nofollow ugc">Digital Media Converter Pro</a>.  It should convert the AVI file without requiring you to install the video codec.</p>
